A space for healing, sharing, and remembering — together.
Grief doesn’t follow a straight line. It’s not a problem to be solved or a season to rush through. At Superior Hospice, we understand that loss touches everyone differently — and that it’s never too early or too late to seek support.
Our Grief Support Groups are open to all. Whether your loved one received care with Superior or not, you are welcome here. These gatherings offer comfort, companionship, and gentle guidance from people who understand. Because no one should have to carry grief alone.
Support, compassion, and the freedom to grieve your way
Grieving is deeply personal — but connection can be a powerful balm. Our support groups offer a safe, inclusive environment where you can talk openly, share quietly, or simply be present.
You’ll find connection with others who have experienced loss and understand the complexity of grief. You are not expected to be “okay.” You are simply invited to be yourself — in whatever place you find yourself today.
Each group is led by grief-informed facilitators trained to hold space and guide meaningful dialogue. We explore topics such as:
Whether you speak up or choose to listen, your presence matters.
Our groups often include gentle activities designed to help you process your emotions. This may include:
Sometimes healing begins with a nod of understanding from across the room. Our community is here to remind you that even in the quietest ache, you’re not alone. Whether you attend just once or come regularly, you’ll find a place of warmth, understanding, and belonging.
We provide carefully curated materials to help you navigate the complex terrain of grief. From books and newsletters to handouts on practical coping tools, these resources are yours to take home and use however they support you best.
Because healing is easier when we’re not alone.
Grief can be isolating. You may feel like the rest of the world is moving forward while you’re still sitting in the ache of what was lost. Our groups don’t offer quick fixes or false cheer — just real people, real stories, and real care.
Whether you’ve recently lost someone, or it’s been months or years, we invite you to come as you are. There’s space for your tears, your silence, your laughter, and everything in between.
You are not expected to “move on.” We honor the idea that grief is something we learn to carry — not something we leave behind. Together, we make space for remembering, for honoring, and for continuing forward with love.
Let us meet you where you are — and walk with you, step by step.
