Intensive support when symptoms demand more

GENERAL INPATIENT CARE

When comfort becomes harder to maintain at home — when pain, symptoms, or emotional distress escalate beyond routine care — General Inpatient Care provides a higher level of support in a facility-based setting.

It’s care that focuses not just on intervention, but on restoring peace when things feel overwhelming.

WHAT IS GENERAL INPATIENT CARE?

General Inpatient Care is hospice’s most advanced level of care. It provides 24/7 monitoring, medical management, and compassionate presence in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or hospice inpatient unit.

This level of care is temporary and designed to stabilize symptoms quickly, with the goal of helping the patient return home if possible.
